Simplify Self-Care with These Easy Intro Steps

If self-care has been on your mind but seems to always be relegated to a non-essential part of life that you might be able to squeeze into your hectic lives, don’t stress. For many of us, aspirations for taking time to care of ourselves get pushed aside for work, home, and caring for others. More and more research is showing how essential self-care is to our well-being and health. And during these particularly stressful times, it’s even more important.

The analogy of putting your own oxygen mask first in order to save others is a fitting comparison. But what does self care look like to you personally? As the name implies, it is a very personal time and one-size certainly does not fit all.

There are easy ways to begin. Try out some of these methods and see which ones make you feel relaxed and rejuvenated. Some might work and others might feel like work. It’s up to you to decide. Having an actionable self-care menu of things can save you time trying to figure out what to do when you have a moment or need a recharge.

And for those that still struggle with feeling overly indulgent making time for self-care, remember, we are our most productive when we are calm and positive, not when we are stressed and feeling overwhelmed.

Self-care can involve several many facets of life. Many people envision getting a massage as self-care and although that might have restorative

We all have those nagging things that keep us from fully being present in
